Which would you choose and why?
Trying to set up a large room with some great stuff for my kids of course.
Thanks for your help...

CSI A6 is just the updated 2008 line. I could be wrong, but functionally there really isn't any difference.

Besides, have you found a CSi5 around? I looked figuring I could get a deal, but they're gone.

I have a CSi A6. Make sure you have room for it. :D It's a behemoth. I found out the measurements in the specs are real. :D

I know where to get both well all three
    LSiC
    CSiA6 $350
    CSi5 $300

So is the CSiA6 worth the extra $50?
Or for that matter is the LSiC worth $120 than the CSi5?
    Again thanks for the help...

You'll probably want to stay with the Rti line for proper timbre matching.

What are you trying to match your center with? Do you already have other speakers for fronts, surrounds? The csi a6 and csi 5 are very similiar so might not be worth the extra $50 there. The lsic is definitely a step up but it runs at 4 ohms and most normal avr's are not made to run 4 ohms. So it kind of depends on what you already have and what you are using to power them.:)

Funny you mention that. My Onkyo 805 has 2 choices for speaker set up, 4 ohm or 6 ohm. The mid level Polks most discussed like the RTi8, the surrounds here etc. are 8 ohm. I know you should select 6 ohm, but it seems strange that the Onkyo has no selection for configuring 8 ohm speakers. Or is it yet something else I haven't learned yet? :D

From what I've read anything over 6 is set to 6 and anything under 6 is set to 4 . Sorry to the Mods I think I sent original message to wrong location.

CsiA6 Cascade tapered crossover...Csi5 is not.
    Am I wrong ?
I believe a lot of people hear the difference, and some don't like it.
Seems to be the type of situation where you must hear it before buying into it.

Considering this thread was 10 months old, I don't think it matters. ;)
