Hello all..
So I am almost done. 1 question.
I have the rti6s as surround. rti 10 front csi5 center.Just got my BK200.7
should I get another pair of rti6 for the Back channel.
The way the room is set up (it's narrow) the seats go from wall to wall, so I have the surround set up as rear surround on far corners. should I get another pair and hang them equidistant across the back wall? So I would have 4 rear surround speakers..
whatchya think?

No. Not in a narrow room. There's probably a better use of your money. What are the dimensions of the room? What kind of sub do you have? What kind of cables are you using?HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

I did it in my room just because I upgraded my fronts and had two extra speakers. My setup sounds similar to yours and honestly I didn't notice a big difference. I don't think I would spend $250 to add them if that was my only option.

nice movie room... Thanks, guess I'll hold off until I have a real movie room one day. guess I bought more amp than I needed too!! But I bought with the future in mind.
thanks for the feedback.
ps. I have the psw505 sub... I have ghetto monocables all around (speaker wire 12awg, hdmi1.3, component), but i would be much easier to convince to spend 250 on speakers over cables any day.Rti10 front, csi5, Rti6 surrounds, PSW505, B&K200.7s2, Onkyo705. -
thanks, by the way when I said my setup sounds similar to yours, I ment by layout and configuration. Your componants are way better the mine and I would love to have them!
If you're looking to burn the money on RTi6's it wouldn't hurt anything. You already got the amp and it will impress your friends more.My Home Theater (WIP):
