I won an ebay auction for a Monster 3600, paid with shipping just under 200$ considering these sell in Canada for 600$+ I think it's a steal. Now Fedex is saying I should receive it tomorrow (as per tracking #).
Now I will be putting this up against my Panamax 1000+. I'm looking forward to the results, which will be posted here and the lose will be put up for sale, by the end of this week. I have never owed Monster Power so I don't know what to expect compated to the Panamax.
I know I like the looks of the Monster over the Panamax, but that is not what matters unless it's a full on tie between the two.
The Monster has 2 high current inpust but I have 3 monoblocks, where should the 3rd one be plugged?

I am looking forward to the Monster VS Panamax duel tomorrow, or the day after (depends on Fedex)

Nice unit youre getting there, I run a 3500 and a 7000. I ran the monoblocks on the high current side, one on the spare. congrats bro.

OK got this puppy connected, it's been a couple days now. I have found :

-it does make a very faint humm, not a big deal as it's in my cabinet with the doors closed. That is my only negative.

-Lots of connections, though I would have liked more High current inputs.
-Power cord is nice and thick but wish it was a removable type.
-I have found it to clean up my SD chs quit a bit, they almost look semi-HD.
-I also like the feature of being able to turn down the bright red power display.
-For some strange reason, I find the sound louder, even though it's not turned up. I have the AVR set to -50 when turned on, it sounds louder that sometimes I have to turn it down from there. Not sure why...?
-I like knowing what my power is at or floating around seems to be 117-119. I have seen it as low as 115 and as high as 120.
-On a side note I think the light-up power cord is a tad cheese. where the Monster emblem lights up.

Overall I think it's a great piece of gear and at the price I got it for a NO brainer.
