Anybody familiar with this tube?

So I decided to test my tubes in my amps and it turns out my 5687 input tubes tested quite weak. I just replaced them not that long ago...I guess my amps are hard on them? Anyway, I am trying to avoid Parts Connexion because I didn't really have a great experience purchasing tubes from them the last time. Therefore, the only other source up here is the TubeStore. I like them but this is the only 5687 that they carry. Anybody, know anything about it? (what a drug out post for such a simple question)

    Nothing special, just a decent replacement. There are some cool DIY designs based on that tube.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanks Jesse. I am hoping to stay Canadian..because of pricing and shipping time. The Tung Sol 5687's in my preamp right now I had purchased from the Tube Depot and one of them is badly microphonic. I am just living with it..whereas if it was a Canadian source I would be more likely to get it taken care of.

    I contacted TubeAudioProducts in Ontario and they said they have Tung Sol D getters from the early 50's. I am waiting on pricing and will probably load up on them.
