Theta Pro Progeny DAC, 8.5/10 condition, coaxial and optical inputs.

This is still for sale. Let me know if you have interest. Great value DAC, retailed for over a grand back in the day. Was purchased new from Audio Concepts in Dallas. I am second owner, light usage, great sound!

    That's a nice DAC.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanks. I'll try to take a better picture tonight, if possible.

    It has a 3/8" solid aluminim front and probably weighs 15-20lbs. It's beautiful, and, unlike other DACs, I like that this one is component sized and very sleek. Looks way better than the Benchmark and other boxy, ugly DACs :)

    Haven't had time to take pics and post it yet. Got a Denon DVD-2200, possibly posting some Tara Labs speaker cables, maybe my ole carver tfm-6cbs, maybe a B&K 125.2.

    Still trying to figure out my master plan, then posting the rest here.

    Russ - in a few weeks, you can come over to my parents in McKinney and help me sort out my bulk shipment of gear :) and teach me about tube rolling. Some of those spare parts might make their way to the FM eventually, and you can have first dibs on anything I don't keep. I could also provide food, beer / liquor, and billiards.

    I had the pleasure of owning this DAC and it rules. Solid, solid piece of gear.

    I'm not sure if it's A or just regular. I'll check on that tonight.

    The reason I ask is it would help differentiate the year produced and hopefully some of the finer details. The Theta site doesn't have much information on this DAC, just would help with the research.

    Thanx for looking into it Andy. No rush. Balanced Outs would have sealed the deal. I asked, as they were doing a lot of balanced stuff when this was originally made. (and you didn't have a picture of the back)
