Got a question for you speaker guru's,

My system
Yamaha RXV861(receiver)
LSIC (center)
RTI-A5 (Mains)
RC85I (rears/surrounds)
PSW 505 Sub

If I wire my sub the "polk" way with mains set on "Large" is this method considered better than the LFE/sub out rca cable?. Is the LFE input designed for use because of 2 channel amps ?. I see many views on this item and just wondering what is the best.

If I want to run 2 subs how would I wire them?
BTW excellent site

Use the LFE method, it's easier. Sonically? Don't worry about it, there's bigger things in life and this doesn't qualify.

    No.

Use a RCA Y-cable splitter from the LFE output on the AVR(Receiver).
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I have luck with this..
I use a electronic x-over from my main out , the low side goes to the sub amp , the high side goes to the amp for my mains, this gives me all adjustment I like
    System:
    Sony da-333es receiver
    Energy X-over
    2 polk monitor 5's
    2 DIY subs
    2 DIY rears
    Kef 90 center
    2 crown xls 402 amps
2 yamaha amps one for rear and one center amplification
