Wow. Amazing flick, very very emotional and touching. Very little reviews on this, but picked it up this weekend for rent... just made you want to cry. Extremely well done, and seems to be one of those "Taboo" topics... similar to Hard Candy, people must just not want to talk about it.
Its about human trafficking, and follows a brother/sister relationship. Not for the weak of heart, but a must see in my book. Hold on to those little ones and hug them a little longer every night!
And thank God that we live in the USA... but even then, as the closing credit's rolled... "The CIA estimates that between 50,000 to 100,000 boys, girls and women are trafficked against their will every year into the USA alone.." Wow.
If you haven't seen this yet, go rent it. My wife broke down and cried after we watched it... it was just that kind of movie.

I watched Hard Candy and it was ok. This sounds far more interesting.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Ya, the critic didn't like Trade at all... not sure why. I personally thought Hard Candy was top notch film-making. Tightly scripted, raw, a great script.

man, this is a good, but intense movie. A couple of the scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat. I was impressed with Kevin Kline as one of the main actors.. this isn't a comedy like he's used to doing.
Smart move to cast Kline in this role.
I highly recommend this movie. it's not for the faint of heart though. It's intense adult drama.
Even now hours after i've seen it, it still has me thinking about it.
What about that ending? Wow!!!
