Near Iowa? Want some of the best speakers around?

A friend from the DiY speaker community, Jim Holtz, is parting with his line array speakers after an extended unemployment from work. Jim commissioned Rick Craig, owner of Selah Audio, to design these speakers for him a few years back. Rick Craig is one of the most respected speaker designers around and specializes in custom line arrays. Rick offers two line array designs on his website (www.selahaudio.com) but has designed many for enthusiasts that want to customize their speakers. I mean, if you're going to spend the bucks ($10,000+) you might as well get what you want!

The asking price is $4200, which is less than half of what you would be charged if you purchased these new off Selah Audio. If you were trying to find this level of performance from a commercial speaker get ready to ante up $25k or more, seriously. They also include integrated powered subs and 500w amplifiers, so no need for high-powered amps (although these arrays will take almost anything you can throw at them). Also, being 97 dB efficient you could run these off a few tube watts and would probably drive your neighbors crazy!

If this is against forum rules I apologize and please remove this post. However, I'm just trying to help a friend spread the word and would appreciate if anyone reading this would do the same.

Thanks.

I believe I have met Jim a time or two at various central IA audio meets in the past! I'm headed back to the Chicago area late Monday afternoon from my farm right outside of Des Moines, so if anyone in the Chicago area wants to work out a deal for them, I can probably get them in the back of the truck

Who on the forum likes to change out their speaker setups at a regular pace? Who could it be.? Who? These might do the trick for that special member. Will just call it another journey. LOL
