I don't understand the passion and pleasure people seem to equate to Focal speakers. I've always found them bright, harsh and generally not pleasant with the type of music I prefer.
The 807's are the only focal speakers I have ever heard. I am sure, much like Polk, every line sounds a little (or in some cases a lot) different. I will say they sounded very good though.Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -
I have only heard their 8 and 7 lines as well, but I do understand that with each step in their speaker lines, only good things happen. :cool:
