Aparently not, bidding is up to $535. Image what labor alone would cost for all the work he has done to it.

I was very fortunate to buy this TOTL Kenwood KR 9600 (dual power supply, 160 WPC) on Ebay last month for only 232 bucks. Original owners manual. I bought it from the original owner that lives only 20 minutes away. It was rarely used and it doesn't have a scratch on it. Works perfect. Very clean, powerful sound driving SDA 2's. While big bucks are being spent on vintage Sansui and Pioneer receivers, these 56 pound powerhouses are flying under the radar.

Wow, that is a very nice Kenwood. Never seen a receiver with rack handles! Are they original or were they added on?

For the amount of work that this guy's put into going beyond just restoration, it's worth a lot more than that.

    If it was a 9090DB, though .... <sigh>

Sansui made some very, very nice gear back in the day.

I'll refrain from going into a AU-11000/TU-9900 rant and rave here, but ......
......gawd, they made some nice stuff.
