I would like to try it. The actual developers were xseed (the people who made the Shadow Hearts games -- and I love those). From the videos I've watched the load times seemed a bit long for battles, but I will buy this at some point. I am a huge JRPG fan, and this game is admittedly non-innovative (it focuses on emotions, so says the dev).

Yes, the battle loads are a bit long alright, and sometimes it takes awhile to trigger a random battle. Lots of grinding too if you want try and level before a boss in the current area......And yes, it does focus on emotions, what JRPG doesn't:)....there are few features that are innovative, like the target ring and skill linking with mortals.

The graphics are absolutely amazing, its really making the 360 work, and theres a "sidekick" in the game thats very fun to watch, alot of comic relief....

I'm about 18 hours into the game and am enjoying it very much!!

Picked this up today. I like it a lot so far for what it is, but it has the worst packaging I have ever seen. You can fit 4 DVDs into a special case like the Blu-Ray planet earth case: they did this in Japan. However, in the US they just cram 3 discs on top of each other and put the 4th disc in a paper sleeve. So cheap. So, my Lost Odyssey is sitting in a Doom 3 CD jewel case so it doesn't scratch up.

    Blu-Ray RPGs ftw.

Are there any plans for games on Blu-ray?
