Need some speaker stands

Von Schweikert VR-1's. I read a review of them somewhere that said the VR-Stand1's were not very good. Hard to find a 26" stand though, which is what they recommend. I wonder if the did that just so you'd buy theirs. The common sizes seem to be 24" then 28 -30"

    VTI makes great stands....especially if you fill them with sand/shot.

    Noel has a real passion for audio and can custom build you anything you want and is widely acknowledged within the industry for his efforts in experimenting with different materials. Harbeth speakers out of the UK uses his stands almost exclusively. Noels a one man operation who usually works 14-16hr days out of Calgary Alberta. He'll pick up the phone if you call and is more then happy to make recommendations and explain how the stand isolates the product. I use his isolation platforms for my transport and ceramic feet for my Krell.

    Thanks.....looks interesting! I was a little worried though....whenever you see these references to guys like 'Klaus' and 'Noel' you figure there's gotta be big bucks invloved. I was expecting something that cost more than my speakers :rolleyes: Those are pretty reasonable.
