I own the rothwell attenuators. I used to use them between my Rogue Audio Metis and amp to give me some more control over the volume when using the remote. The metis jumped quite a bit with each click of the remote. They also lowered the noise floor.

    good Tweak.

It's hard to say, I believe so but I never did the tweak alone. When I did serious listening back when I had a modded Jolida JD-100 and Modright pre I would let the Ayre run, grab a light to charge my CD mat, and use the ionoclast on the discs I would be using. I did notice a improvement with all these tweaks but I never used the Ayre on its own, except for the other tracks. I used the brown noise alot for breaking in speakers.

    good Tweak.

I used them the same way with my Modwright pre. I got more volume control with smaller jumps from using the remote, and as a added bonus a lower noise floor. I don't need these anymore as all 3 of my systems use passive pres.

OK updated the add. The ionoclast and audioprism are spoken for, flex pins are pending payment, and the rothwells have a sale pending on Audiocircle. I removed the PC Connectors to place in their own add, along with some cheap cables for sale.
