Just generating some discussion...

For those that have Satellite Radio, whether it be XM or Sirius, what are your favorite stations?

I like some of the talk stations, but here are my favs on XM -

7 - 70's music
8 - 80's music
9 - 90's music
81 - BPM - club mix dance music

My favorite station hands down that i'm addicted to is channel 27 Cinemagic. They play movie soundtrack music. In between songs, say it's a 3 song selection from a particular movie, they'll play a piece of dialogue from the movie that coincides with the music from that part of the movie. Last year, the day before the Oscars, they played nothing but Oscar Winning and Nominated music all day. They'll probably do it again this year.

Whatcha listening to?

I enjoyed the rap station a lot. Lots of "old school" music at certain times of the day.

I have XM & the presets I listen to the most are.....

    7 or 8 - 70's & 80's
    45 - Starbucks (Album Rock)
    49 - Big Tracks (70's & 80's Classic Rock)
50 - The Loft (Acoustic Rock)
60 - Sould Street (Classic Soul)
    71 - Watercolors (Contemporary / Smooth Jazz)
    74 - Bluesville (Blues)
    77 - AudioVisons (New Age)
84 - XM Chill - Smooth Electronic (great for driving late at night on long trips)
    101 - The Joint (Reggae)
150 - XM Comedy (Uncensored Comedy)
    163 - Sonic Theater (Books & Drama)

I spend a lot of time driving between destinations for work. I have been an XM subscriber for about 5 years now and it's one of the very best investments I have made to make the road an easier trip.
