Help setting up speakers new pioneer Receiver

I just got a VSX-d812 7.1 it Craps all over my Kenwood vr615 not saying that was a bad receiver. Now on my kenwood i could tune the speakers to set it so Voices would only come out the center and not in the front speakers or very little. I dont know how to do that with the pioneer I think it was something call paragroma or something like that on the kenwood. Any help would be great.
