Hi to all you, my first post here.
I was wondering if the Polk LCi-RTS100 in-ceiling speakers work well as rear effect speakers, or am I best sticking to one the speakers with the FX in their name.
I know there's the Polk LCi-RTS-FX, but I can't fit these into my setup, I have to have in-ceiling rears, the built-in performance enclosure on the LCi-RTS100 makes them more appealing as well.

This is a reply from a shop in England, after I asked the same question..........

"Hi Ric, these are probably the best in-ceiling speakers you can get and are designed as rears. These would be ideal for your set up."

I'm not sure if I agree, these are designed for being rear speakers.

Is it worth me contacting Polk, or do they have people on here, who'll answer my question?.

They work great as rear surround speakers. But what are you using for the front and center (and side surrounds if applicable)?

I'll be using the LCi-RTS105's for the fronts and the LCi-RTS-C for the centre.
I'm guessing I'll need the Pre-Construction Brackets as well, I've never seen them available in the UK.
