just wondering if anyone has placed their LSi15 with woofer pointing inwards and tweeter out?
this is how mine is now...any pro/cons switching L->R and R ->L?

I have mine reversed as the bass was kind of thin otherwise. My setup has two large openings to other rooms near each speaker, so that might explain why it helped reversing them?Speakers: Polk LSi15
Pre: Adcom GFP-750 with HT Bypass
Amp: Pass Labs X-150
CD/DVD Player: Classe CDP-10
Interconnects: MIT Shortgun S3 Pro XLR
Speaker cables: MIT MH-750 bi-wire

Cartridge:Denon DL-160

If the side firing woofers are facing each other, you seem to get more bass. If the side firing woofers are facing away from each other, you seem to get less bass, but a bit cleaner.

try both, keep in mind the bass your getting from firing the woofs in might be a bit boomy. might be cool at first, but will get old. Try it anyway, can't hurt. My 15's are a little too close to the wayy, but firing them in would aim them at my theater stack and subwoofer and probably be worse than being to close to the wall anywayLiving Room 2 Channel -

experiment with placement, try putting them a little closer together and backing off the toe in a skosh.
toe in is fine with the LSi's, but I dont think they should be aimed right at your head though.Living Room 2 Channel -

Tweeters in or out?
We recommend tweeters to the outside. It is the woofers that anchor the imaging, and the tweeters that add the air, harmonics, etc. So with them to the outside the sound stage is a little bigger and less stacked between the speakers.

i rearranged my front speaker setup
-brought the speakers 2 feet closer (from 10ft to 8ft)
-no toe
the voice of andrea bocelli has more "bottom end" and system sounds less "bright". I like it, soundstage is as firm as before the rearrangement...will post pics this pmmy 7.(1x4) HT setup

Maybe you can place some small cabinets or boards next to those side firing woofers (at some distance away), that way the bass will have something to bounce off, increasing bass response.

Hey slowcar, I have my rears on the wall like you and used some of this stuff to hide the wires. Im only making a suggestion, and it will easliy blend in with your wall color. I can post pics of my own if need be, but heres what I found.

i like the way you are hanging the RTi4! i went from RTi4 to FXiA4 because i wanted the driver to face forward on the surround...
fixing the wiring mess will be a formidable feat...:D
this latest setup sounds pleasing to the ear - will be keeping it for awhile
taking the lsi to reference level with the d-sonic, it maintains composure with no evidence of the amp running out of steammy 7.(1x4) HT setup
