Can anyone tell me if it is possible to swap out a 7 inch RTi 10 speaker with the new model? A5(or possibly A7)? My brand new RTi 10 speaker is giving me distortion at low volume.. right when I hooked it up. I know I could just return them but Future shop is sold out of them and I got a great deal on them... they are down to $399 CAD.. I just wish they had more.

Thanks for the help, What will happen? Will I have to send the one to them first and then they'll replace it? If that is the case it sounds like it will take awhile... I live in Canada. I am sure I will have to supply them with a receipt as well... no that its a big deal. Has anyone delt with Polk before? I sure hope they are good about the whole thing.

Give Polk a call on Monday morning.
Then again, why don't you just use all that tax money you kept."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
So I gave the Canadian Polk rep a call and he's sending me a replacment speaker ASAP. No hassle at all, so I was pretty happy about that.. I just have to install it in myself.

They did the same thing for me with an Lsi tweeter. It was awesome. It will be at your door by Wednesday.
Good luck,

Changing the speaker should be easy. Just make sure to notice what wire was connected to + on the speaker and which to - when you pull the old one out.
edit: I'm in Ottawa, btw
