write in the "Have you ever been fired from a job?" space?

I lied every time and told them no. It was kind of "nervy" to ask in my opinion.

Yes, but they hired me back when I threatened to release the photographs and recordings.

I've never been fired...because nobody really knows exactly what I do. That way it is really easy to BS to the bosses that I'm doing a really good job. It's worked for 30 years.

Tragic but true, I look at a lot of resumes where almost every company in their recent employment history has either been gobbled up in an acquisition, or no longer exists. The most you can hope to get is confirmation they were actually an employee at one time. Most HR dept's won't even answer as to why a former employee left.

Partial retirement is outasight, but I know myself, and I could've handled full-retirement cold turkey no problem. I didn't really require this acclimation period, but the gov't. insisted upon it. Vampires.

I can't believe nobody ever got fired.

In my instances of being "let go" both infractions occured almost within nanoseconds of dismissal, so trying to "beat them to the punch" would've not only been in poor form, but near freakin' impossible.

For legal reasons it's best to just give date started til date left. It's funny what all you can get sued for nowadays.

I have yet to be fired. Doesn't mean it won't happen but it hasn't happened yet.
