Power Amp Or Int?

Looking at adding more grunt to my system.

What yor oppinion on running a power amp through my CA640R receiver vs a intergrated amp with a HT pass through.

Would my receiver do a better job as a pre or do you think the intergrated would be better suited.

Things that make you go HHMMMMM???????:confused:

Amp - Jas Audio Bravo 3.2 set
Power Cord - Tunami GPX
CDP - Marantz cd6002 - Audio gd Ref 5 Dac

    For music, get an int. amp.

    For HT, get a power amp.

    For both, get an int. amp with HT pass through.

    What kind of speakers are you planning on running? If the speakers are rated at 4ohms and low sensitivity, then an integrated amp might not have enough juice to power them properly (unless you get one of those really big ones).

    I have monitor 12s. 8ohms, 91db.

    Looking at 250 - 350wpc in both types of amps.
