    for those that don't know who Nascarman (Shane) was.. he passed away a few years ago. Just to clear that up. he was not banned in any way.

    However, equal punishment for all should be in order...

    And while I know Mark is joking 220% of the time in every single one of his post...

    Going with all the current rule changes and overall BS of this forum now...

    You shouldnt get away with calling any forum member, particularly someone such as Joe a moron, joking or not.

    You are a Club Polk moderator, therefore have to be the common ground to everything. You are a representative to Polk in a way...

    How is a newbie, reading the forum going to react to a moderator calling other members idiots?

    Now keep in mind, I personally could care less who you call a moron - as I know you are joking. However, keep in mind Sal jokes all the time too, just more on the perverted side of the table. Like Joe said, a kid at heart.

    So rule changes are cool, but buddy systems shouldnt be in place for anyone....

    Someone was banned. He probably knows why. I don't think anyone else is entitled to an "explanation". And by the way, he'll be back, so ask him if you're so interested.

    Obviously our opinions don't really matter, since this is a forum that is dictated by POLK. So I'm not going to waste my time typing my .02.

    I just think that a whole lot of defensive words are posted by those with somewhat of a power... and they didn't used to be that way until given titles. And now that they have titles, they are required to back Polk on everything that happens.

    But whatever. Punishment without warning, leans toward dictatorship.

    I just want to make sure its set straight. I am not throwing stones at Marc. If I were that would mean I have to look at every comment I have ever made. I think Polk's higher ups need to lighten up a little when senior members are joking around. Most senior members here have helped a lot of people out, and banning them for slightly off color humor is pretty weak. I hope this overly sensitized PC/ thread deleting/ banning slows down to a more sensible rate. Don't Polk Executives own TV's? This is kiddy stuff compared to some of the crap on TV. Threads getting banned because someone is getting reamed for saying something stupid is stupid.

    I kid you not, that's part of the problem. Some of us don't miss an opportunity to pick a fight. This is our playground and we choose who to let in. Some newbies get pushed to explode, just because he/she is a newbie, and then we have a justified reason to fall on them.
    Not saying it is always like that, and some newbies probably deserve it...but I think we need to grow up.
