    Nice setup!

What kind of speakers are those? They look familiar.

And how many speakers are you driving? I see you have both a Parasound and the Rotel.

Absolutely, he's a friend of mine.....big, mean looking guy but a teddy bear. The reason he sold that amp is because he bought my Audio Research amp.....well, one reason I guess :)

That's funny stuff and I wondered if that was the one you were buying but I couldn't recall where you were from.

If you're down here again, give me a shout. I'm linked via email from here.

Super nice rig...How does the Rotel sound compared the the mega Parasound 3500 ?

I'm thinking about a BIG amp myself, and those two are on my short list.

    Thanks,Mike

both neck and neck. the 3500 is a better bass amp for sure. i tried the 3500 on the top also, was very good there also. if i had two 3500's the sound would be just fine. the rotel came along first. most folks would say the rotel is alittle smoother in the mid and high area. i cant tell, they both sound too darn good. if i had to pick one over the other, the parasound. for sheer power its the way to go. so i guess one of each is perfect

Thanks man,I already have a couple of Parasounds that I'm quite happy with, but either one,the Rotel 1090 or the HCA 3500 look to be a beast for sure:D

I agree as the Parasound was designed to have a heavy, controlled low end. It's a Parasound trademark. The only Parasound I've ever heard with a crisp high end would be the Halo series or my BBQ :)
