I am interested in a pair of LSi9's. I missed onecall's sale on them last year. Does anyone know if the LSi9's are going on sale again sometime this year? When and where.
Thanks, really appreciate the help.

There is a guy on ebay that sells the polk lsi speakers brand new. From my understanding he is a dealer out in california and comes with full warranty. His prices are cheaper then stores. Send him an email and he will give you a price quote. I believe others on this forum are familiar with the guy.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the suggestion.
Actually I already tried that route. From what I understand from his e-mails, he is not the authorized dealer per se. He makes bulk purchases from an authorized dealer, and offers the pieces for sale. This makes me a bit uncomfortable with the warranty thing.
Anyways, thank you for the suggestion. Do you happen to know if there are going to be any sales coming up from some of the large online companies, like onecall, Crutchfield, etc.? Crutchfield almost never has any sales. And that onecall sale last year was FANTASTIC, $500 for a pair of LSi9's. Now they are back to $899. What a bummer. -
Other from what I mentioned, I do not know of any other places. Cross your fingers that Frys will drop the price of the lsi 9.
-
Well, here's to hoping that Frys will drop their prices on the LSi9's. After all, they did let go of the LSi15's for under $400 a pair.
-
Still $899 @ Fry's. The Ebay guy sells them for $660/pair. He claims full warranty.[

I assume we're talking about Z Tech Electronics. I was about to order from them, but ran it by Polk yesterday, and they confirmed he is not an authorized dealer any more. Anything bought after March 2007 (I believe) is no longer warrantied.

...and his store is Z Tech Electronics. It's right on the page under "Visit seller's Store:". -

Curious how/ why he lost the right to sell Polk's? Did they say?I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -
What about this place http://highdecibels.com/
I emailed them yesterday and say they are an authorized dealer. They have my LSI 7s for under 500(before shipping).
Anyone deal with them? -
Thanks for the suggestion. But it doesn't look like hifidecibels is on the list of Polk's authorized online dealers. Does it go by any other name?
But that list is weird. Benchmark media is listed as an authorized Polk dealer. I wasn't aware that Benchmark was getting into the speaker business. -
That list is weird. I have a feeling that Polk doesn't update that list.

Tell me about it! Some of the people listed on that site don't even carry Polk products any more! Best way to be sure is to call customer support.Emotiva LMC pre/pro
