So a few months ago a CL deal for Monitor 10's fell through (seller backed out) and I was crushed only to find a pair of RTA 12'c just a few weeks later. I listened to them for about a minute before I said 'SOLD'! The RTA are my first Polks, they set me back $150, a bargain at twice that price I smile each time I listen to them. Fast forward to last week, I found some Monitor 7's for $50 on CL, I talked to the seller and asked 'what's wrong with them' he said they sound great the fabric on the grills is rough but they sound perfect. Well they are not as easy on the eyes as the RTA's but they sound so very nice. So now I have a couple of hundred pounds of Polks! I have a few questions, how do I determine which 7 series they are? The sticker on the back says only 'Monitor Series 7', they have the same Tweeter that my RTA's have with the words 'Polk Audio silver coil dome' and no fuses on the back side. The serial numbers are not sequential so I looked inside and the crossovers have stickers from Nov 86 on one and Jan 87 on the other. I'll attach a few pictures if that helps ID them. I spent a good hour with diluted windex and q-tips getting the mid and the PR cleaned up and now they look almost as good as they sound. I'll attach a few small pictures but this link is to my Picassa gallery with bigger pictures if that helps:

Thanks
