The cinenova grande 7 you have is no slouch. It will probably smoke any Rotel amp with the exception of the 1090 and will probably give all but the Halo stuff a good run. What is wrong with the Cinenova that makes you want to replace it?

no dont want to replace it I'm putting together a 2 channel rig just for musicHome Theater sony 52 inch lcd,Cinenova grande 7 channel, polk RTI8,CSI5,FXI5,onkyo 805

I'd leave the cinenova alone. It's a nice amp. You are looking, IMO, at a lateral move at best.
Plus, having those extra channels also makes biamping a cinch.

not getting rid of my cinenova using it for my new 2 channel rig since I changed my home theater from RTI12 to RTI8 and need a new amp for them will never get rid of my cinenova this thing is a beastHome Theater sony 52 inch lcd,Cinenova grande 7 channel, polk RTI8,CSI5,FXI5,onkyo 805

Sorry,a bit confused. Why are you looking at 5-7 channel amps for a 2 channel rig?
And why use the cinova in a 2 channel rig?Leave it doing ht,thats what it does best.Plus you would save more coin by buying a 2 channel amp rather another 5-7 channel amp.HT SYSTEM-

yes you are`right I do save more money buying a 2 channel amp but later down the road plan on setting up a second home theater and would have to buy another amp then so rather just buy a 5 channel now and use it for music and have it ready for when i do the second theater systemHome Theater sony 52 inch lcd,Cinenova grande 7 channel, polk RTI8,CSI5,FXI5,onkyo 805

If you have the chance to get the Sunfire combo, that is what I would do. All three amps will do the job nicely. So my choices would be: 1. Sunfire, 2. Parasound, 3.
