Last week Atrium60's were $240, and Atrium55's were $270. Now the 60's are back up to $370.
I've been putting together a HT system for the past couple of months, and you would be amazed how much and how often prices change on Amazon. I've seen prices change 30% or more from week to week, and smaller price changes several times in a day.
Keep watching the price on the FXiA4's. I bet they go up again in a few days.

The fxi a4's have been that price for over a month. I think the reg price is just an error that they haven't realized yet.

Can somebody suggest a speaker stand for FXiA4

I couldn't resist at this price. (It has to be a mistake, doesn't it???) Still not a perfect match for my system, but should be a nice improvement over my current surrounds.

You wont be disappointed SlowCarIX. The Sourrounds works perfect in my room. I do feel they are an overkill as rears though.Receiver: Onkyo TX-SR805

Ordered mine Tuesday around 11:30 at night and they arrived today @ 3:00. I've got them hooked up and listed to the Eagles HD-DVD and Transformers HD and I'm pretty happy. Still need to calibrate though. Gizmo, we have similar systems...same speakers, but your amp is better than mine I believe. Don't know about you, but I love my setup.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Hey Guys,
Looking for opinions here...
I just bought a Harman Kardon AVR-247, I have a set of Black RTi12's on the way, and I'm keeping an eye out for a Black CSi5...
I'm in no rush to set up this system, but I also saw the deal on the FXiA4's and am ready to jump on it.
My question is if you think that the FXiA6's are a substantial improvement on the 4's, or if you think that they will match better/worse with my RTi12's. I know the driver size in the FXiA4's is the same is the mids in the RTi12's, but it seems that everywhere I see people listing their equipment, if they have RTi12's they usually have FXi5/FXiA6's. Is the similar driver size an argument for the 4's, or am I over analyzing the situation.
I've heard the 4's by themselves and really liked them, and I would go and listen to the 6's, but I'm in Canada, and I can't seem to find them anywhere to audition...
Any thoughts or opinions of all of the FXi series or FXiA series speakers would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Personally, I think the A4s should be satisifying. Well I guess it depends on how big your room is as well. For me the A4s are plenty.
You should buy them from amazon (join prime free for one month) to get free shippingReceiver: Onkyo TX-SR805

Thanks for the advice Gizmo,
Almost ready to pull the trigger, but I am curious about the answer to the question I asked in my previous post about driver size, and still would like to hear some opinions on the differences between the speakers, as I'm unable to listen to the 6's.
Currently the room I have isn't too big, but I'm going to be moving in around 6 months, and I don't know what size my new theatre room will be...
Thanks, -
i used to have the fxi5's as my side surrounds, but i went with the smaller fxi a4's instead. the amazon deal was too good to pass up. i didn't find a substantial difference between the two, but the 5's did have a better midrange. other than that, i've been very satisfied with my a4's.My Setup

Thanks for the insight Uvaskeme,
I think I'm sold... going to go for the FXiA4's.
Thank you all for your posts. Very helpful.
Andrew_mac, you PM'd me tonight based on my post in this thread, and I'm intersted in talking about your CSi5, but I don't have enough posts to reply:o. If you PM me with your email, I would love to continue the conversation...
