I might take a look at some used Polk speakers of a friend of a friend. I am still trying to get a model number, but the description is:
8" x 13" x 43.5", Cherry Veneer, each speaker has a tweeter, 3 midrange and a power sub wolfer.Adjustable bass settings
I can't think of any Polk's that meet this description. Any thoughts?

single tweeter, 3 mids, and a powered woofer? I don't think we're looking at anything vintage, for sure. The newer lines, maybe. Everything vintage used passive rads.Ludicrous gibs!

My first guess was the RT2000P even though the dimensions don't exactly add up............http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/rt2000p/

The RT2000i only have one 6.5" mid-bass driver and are 16.75"D
Other drivers are: One 1" tweeter and two 8" powered bass drivers. -
Sounds like an LS90. it Didn't have a powered sub built in but it sounds similar. -
They ended up being RT1000'is. I have no idea where he came up with the drivers. He didn't even know the grills came of.
