so i was looking at my friends system today, and i noticed that he had almost a pool of water on his amp. he had no idea where it came from but i think there was frost on it, and it must of melted. we live in wisconsin, so this might happen often. i am just wondering if there are any tricks that i can use to prevent this from happening. i am sure that that cannot be good for the amp...any ideas

here in mexico theres a place called toluca, and its the only place with snow arround here.

people from there, buy a cigarrette, and take out the tobacco.

they clean their windsields with the tobacco, and the oil of the tobacco prevents the windshield to freeze.

i dont know if its safe to use it on your amp, but thats an idea.

The most awesome response I've ever heard. If you are worried about the smell, just pipe tobacco. It smells good.

I wouldn't really recommend rainx or smearing it with tobacco.... to me that's like using armor all on your speakers. You may just have a problem with sealing your trunk that needs to be fixed so that moisture in the air cannot get in as easily, although it may be tough. Check it after your car has warmed up and see how much condensation is there.
