Polk Monitor 40's Or RTi6? Which One?
Can't decide which speaker to get. They will be used for music only.No movies. Just music.Classic rock.No heavy metal or even loud classic rock.

The Rti6 is an excellent speak. I have no experience with the Monitor line but my vote is for the 6.

40's are a tad on the bright side too. I noticed this when I replaced them in the front with my 70's and put them as surrounds. Heluva surround speaker though.Onkyo TX NR 5008 modified by The Upgrade Company

I bought the 40s and ended up taking them back and buying the rti6s. I bought them for 5 dollars less than I bought the 40s for so it was definately a good upgrade! Plus they sound better!Living Room setup: Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH, Krell KAV 300i, PS Audio DL III DAC, Tyler Acoustics Taylo 7u, Dynaudio Audience 120C+, SVS 25/31PCI, B-P-T Clean Power Center, Ps3, Panny 50" S1 Plasma, Tekline speaker cables, Audio Art interconnects, and Pangea power cables.
