Its a sweet ride. I would have expected the SR series though:(
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

I would've had one pair of coax's and two subs instead of 5 speaks... other than that, awesome job.

That's awesome and it would SOOOOOO get stolen, easily, anywhere these are more practical transportation. I'm retiring with this as my predominate mode of transportation.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    It was Eric Wong's install.

If I had to guess, there is no head unit and its controlled by a media device like an ipod, and there is a small...small amp under the seat.

Well that makes more sense. I haven't really got into Bike modding yet, so I apologize for my stupidity. :D

Wow you're good  Yes Ipod directly feeds the amp. This is an older picture, the hard drive iPod shown didnt like the vibrations so I use a 2nd gen Nano now. There's also dB1001 tweeters up front. Might add a XM or Sirius receiver :D

Here's the amp. 150 watts bridged mono feeding the dB691. It gets pretty loud!

Do you ride in the rain much ? Even a good sized puddle could soak that amp...any precautions taken ?

I don't guess that I'll ever understand audio gear on a motorcycle.

And yes, that's all that I came here to say.

Not all the time but yes I've ridden in the rain, some torrential downpours too. The amp is a marine amp made for use on boats. It has a conformal coated board (I took it apart to make sure), stainless steel hardware. I also covered it with 3 layers of black vinyl to act as an additional guard. Of course, there's also a water resistant in-line fuse incase there ever is a short, but it hasn't blown yet...
