FXi3 Speaker orientation question

Hi Everyone,
I have 2 pairs of FXi3 surrounds. I noticed that the documentation that comes with the speakers indicates which speaker is the left/right speaker, however my speakers don't have this label on them.
Which one should be the left and which should be the right? Thanks!

Some one please correct me if I'm wrong because my f/xs are currently in storage, but I believe that the mid driver goes to the inside for orientation.

Mine don't have Left or Right marked on them either. I have my mids pointed towards the rear which I am not sure is correct or not. This seems to be a mum subject on this website so I really wish someone would chime in.Pioneer vsx-1120k, B&K Sonata series video-5 amplifier, Polk Rti8, Fxi3, Csi5, and HSU VTF-1 -
Mids to the rear if on side walls and toward the center if on back walls, if my memory is correct.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

I have the fxi A4's (pretty much the same thing) and they are labled left and right on the serial number sticker. The right surround, when placed on the same side of the room as the right front speaker, has the mid-range driver facing forward. Similarily, the rears have the mid driver facing outward. The surrounds are on dipole and rears on bipole. I love the resulting sound at present time.
Once I get more used to the sound I will try reversing them and see what kind of differences I notice. -
Thanks Everyone....
BeRad, I have both set to bipole and love it. Have you tried that? I'll play with mine between bipole/dipole, and so far my ears seem to like the bipole more, since (I think) due to the speaker shape/setup there isn't much of a null space to fill...The Home Theater Setup:

I am going to wait till I have time to sit and watch a movie that I really know well. Then I'll play around with settings and what not, but I do plan to try that out.

Conflicting answers in this one thread. I haven't seen the answers in my search yet.
I have the same question and mine are also not labeled.
What's the final (official?) word on the FXi3?
What a useless user manual.
When mounted on the side walls, should the drivers point forward (toward the TV) or backward?
Will a back wall within 5 ' impact the driver direction decision?
When mounted on a rear wall, should the drivers face the center (each other), or away from center?
Thanks

I just picked up a pair here also that were not labelled.
Luckily I have a pair of FXi30's that are. Here is a pic of the right channel.
Hope this helps.

That's the FXi30 not the FXi3, but since its apparently also the same design style and orientation as the FXiA4s ReBad posted above, I suppose I can assume that all the surrounds designed this way should probably be positioned the same.
If somebody that actually has an FXi3 can verify, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I go with the majority.
Thanks for the pics psomers.
My FXi3s are factory refurbs, I wonder if that's why the Ser No. label is not the norm.??

Could be. I have FXi3's that I purchased used here on the forum. They were not labelled either, so I set them up corresponding to my FXi30's.Onkyo 805

I have a pair of labeled fxi3 placed on the side walls. The right Fxi3 (same side of the right front speaker) has the mid-range driver facing forward (toward the TV). Same thing for the left Fxi3.
I hope this will help. -
Indeed. Thanks for the confirmation.
I hooked them up in thier final locations last night, and so far they sound good. I think the surround sound field is a bit better now (I had them swapped prior), but I'm still not sure. I assumed that having the drivers' output bouncing off the rear wall would have been desireable.____________________
