Surrounds/center to go with Monitor 70s?
I recently bought a pair of Monitor 70s and am trying to decide what my next purchase should be. I have a JBL Northridge EC35 center, and I was happy enough with it before I bought the Monitors. It still sounds good, but I'm wondering if I'd be better off with the Polk CS2, since it's voice-matched. Any advice?
I'm also looking for new surrounds. Polk recommends the Monitor 40s to go with teh 70s, but I need to mount them on my walls, and the Monitor 40s look awfully big for wall-mounting. Does it make sense to buy something from another Polk line? Or would that defeat the purpose of trying to match the timbre throughout my system?
For what it's worth, I didn't go with Polk's recommended sub. I went with the HSU STF-2.
