    I was actually looking to get this so my director can film me in true 1080p. He's been using that old-skool 720p **** for way too long. I mean, come on, my **** deserves it!

    I've got the HV10 (the previous model, got it for under $500) and I'm very happy with it. I was thinking it was 1080i, but I may be wrong. Either way, the video is gorgeous.
