What is the general opinion of the Bose 901 speakers? I had a pair that I got faily cheap, in excellent condition, but I sold them.

Its not necessarily the design rather the cheap materials used. Bose has the right idea, just the wrong and a cheap way of doing it.

My cousin had a pair from the late 80's. Were not too bad until the drivers rotted out.
