Hey, Joe...may I suggest getting rid of the background image on your website? I have 2 professional websites of my own that I make a living off of that are a huge part of my business, so i wouldn't steer you wrong.

The soft overlay you have on the background images causes the text and everything else to bleed together. In a word, it's distracting.

The best websites are clean and straightforward. I'd really suggest taking that image and incorporating it into a logo. You can still use the soft overlay of that image, but it will stand out on it's own and won't distract from the rest of the page.

This is 15 minutes of work.

This is my logo I'm just to cheap to pay to remove the cubecart one.

That's a really good logo you made and I would definitely use it if I were you.

As far as my comments, it's not that I don't like, it's that it really doesn't work.

The KISS principle is as true for web design as it is for print advertising. When I go to a website things should look crisp and clean, and most importantly I shouldn't have to think about what i'm looking at. Right now you've got too much complexity there that just isn't needed. So i'm not so much knocking your hard work as just saying you did too much work.

Your website is a reflection of your business, and i'm assuming this is a hobby for you. Why do I have that assumption? Well, that's the way it looks.

Look at Frank Dai's website http://www.signalcable.com/. In all honesty, that's not a very good website. He's gotten by with word of mouth, but I guarantee he'd have a ton more business if he spruced up his site and made it flow better than it does now. Maybe he's getting all the business he wants and doesn't want it to start to feel like a job. I have no idea. It might be the same for you. All I am saying is that if you want to grow as a business a good website can be your best employee that your customers will have access to 24 hours a day.

Ok Demi, what do you think about it now? I don't even know if I should ask but what the heck...

I just feel the plain white background seems so yesterday.

PS with all your fine babe pictures you never joined my Politically Corrected forum.

It's a lot cleaner already. You could left justify the text next to your video and center the video on your page. Also try to limit the different fonts and font colors you use.

As far as the color of the page goes....it doesn't need to be white, it's just better if it's a lighter color or an accent because it's easier on the eyes. You want to be drawn to the content rather than how pretty everything looks.

Anyhow, I am done. Just wanted you to think about keeping things simple and make sure the page flows. :)

Haha, I should've tried harder before posting. I just googled and found it.

Nice looking website! The white background with the blue accents looks very clean and crisp, which is great, but you may be able to change the background color to something else to dress it up a little bit without making it too busy.
