I just purchased an ALPINE CDA-9885 HU and 4 Polk MMC650's , I know im not going to get the most out of my speakers just by running them from the Head Unit.
Which Amp should I use to run the 4 speakers and possibly 2 8" MM2084 Midbass Subs in the doors?
I have an 06 Mustang GT w/ Shaker 500
(6 Speaker system w/ (4) 5X7's and (2) 8" Lower Door Drivers)
If I did install the (4) 6.5" + (2) 8" Subs that would bring the nominal RMS wattage to 720 Watts. what amp would be appropriate?
.....orShould I just run the (4) 6.5" Speakers and Just get a Good Quality 12" Sub for the trunk
I appreciate your time
Thank you in advance

those speakers are 125w RMS.... im running a MTX Thunder Elite 1004 which is 125x4 at 4ohms.... works pretty good too.... get a 12" SR for the trunk and put a 1000watts into it.... something like an alpine pdx1.1000 would be good.2013 Toyota Prius

Def get an amp to run the fronts, bare minimum. If possible, run all 4 + 2 off an amp.
Convertible?
