How well does this Carver Pro ZR500 amp perform?

I have recently purchased a pair of RTi 10's and have been looking for a good amp to power these. I have found this Carver Pro ZR500, it has two ratings: 95 watts x 2(at 8 ohms)-20Hz to 20kHz <0.5% THD+N
120 watts x 2 (at 8 ohms)-1kHz <1% THD+N
I got this info at "http://www.carverpro.com/2004/zrampmodels.html"
This amp has XLR inputs(from what i could see), so my first question is, will there be any issues from going from RCA to XLR? (i have never seen that type of cable but i am fairly new to HT) and will this be powerful enough to get the full benifits of my RTi 10's?
I guess if this amp will not work that great, proably the next step up would preform better, the ZR1000? Any help would be appreciated.
