what's a 'good' price for SDA's in need of TLC?

these SDA 1's are driving distance from me, but they are in need of work. If he fails to get a bid I was thinking about contacting the seller to see what his lowest price would be. What's a ballpark guess on the cost to replace the 4 missing drivers? My RTA12c's could use the company, or should I hold out for a more complete set?
Thanks
Abel

I'd pass, the 'right' SDA's will show up - you just need patience.

These were shown no love by who ever moved them around....there are enough killer deals on SDA's in great shape to definately pass on these.

So $200 for the speakers, then probably, what, $200 for the replacement drivers? I'd pass. You don't know what else is wrong and the price is creeping up there.

I'd think about it for 100 bucks less.

I think I'm going to have my very nice pair of 1C's on the market soon. These have the upgraded crossovers and RDO tweeters (and SDA cable, of course). I just picked up a pair of LSi-25s two days ago. And since I still have my Martin Logan SL3s (on A'gon) and pair of Gallo 3.1s on the way, I've ran out of room again....sigh...

There you go. 2 1/2 hours, it wasn't so bad. :p

Personally, I'd much rather have the 1Cs over the 1s anyhow.

    Just messing with ya.

My 2b's seem to be a perfect size for my 9.5' x 12' spare bedroom converted to a tv & audio listening room.

Did those first generation SDA-1's ever come stock with the Peerless tweeter (like those have)? I thought they all started life with the SL1000. Hmmm...
