Let me start with I am a huge POLK Fan with all my work trucks running the sr6500's. Now I am dealing with a question about Home speakers. I am debating on the RTi8 or the Monitor60 set for the front in a surround sound set up.I was wanting to go with the csi3 center unless you have a better choice. I am also not sure what sub to go with since I am mainly going to be using it for music and I would want the tightest hardest bass possible. I want a bass that attacks not just shakes but I would want it to sound good on movies I currently have the Klipsch sub-10 and it is way to boomy when playing music. Please let me know the best choices for my center, front & Sub. Do you have a sugestions on receiver brand? I am currently running a cheap 5.1 110watt per channel Yamaha.

Out of those 2 choices, the rti8. But then lots of people say the 8s rtis are bright for music. I thought so as well untill I spent lots of $ on different gear and no longer find them very bright. As far as subs go see my post in your other thread.

I have never heard the monitor 60's but I have heard the rti8's and they sound very nice especially for the price you can get them for at Fry's right now. As far as subwoofer goes what kind of budget do you have?

I'd go RTi's.....Especially at the prices they are going for now. As far as a sub goes, I loved my Sunfire Super Junior for music, but it was a little rough to get it set up right, that little **** has a whole lot of power behind it...If budget is not an issue, I would go on the hunt for a Sunfire ultimate receiver I or II, they are basically their Theater Grand III processor with a 200X5 watt@8OHMs amp built in.
