Where do my speakers fit in?

I asked this on another thread, but I don't want to hijack that thread, so I'll repost here. All this talk of the theft going on @ Frys with the LSis has me curious. Where do the RT3000s fit in relative to some of the newer polk series (RTi, LSi, etc)? Just curious what people's opinions are of the sound quality of the older RT5000 series relative to the newer stuff.

And someone please kick me off this forum before I go spend more money! This place is insane! :)

    Are those the 100lb monsters with dual 8" powered subs in each tower?

    Overall, some of the best RT line ever made. The subs are very musical subs, fast and tight, although a tad shy of the deepest HT type high excursion subs of today.

    I bet someone hear will evaluate them for free for you, as long as you pay the shipping.

    There very nice speakers, but you should buy some more anyway.

    Hah, it would be cheaper to buy you a plane ticket to Austin! :)

    I was really curious how they match up against some of the LSis, since those were available on the cheap at Frys. But, they're all sold out so I guess my money is safe... for now.
