Evidence of Chroma bug...

I have a new Panasonic DMP-BD30K Blu ray player connected directly to my Samsung 50" DLP (720p). I noticed yesterday, while playing a standard DVD (Planet of the Apes, new remake) some chroma error in some of the camp fire scenes. The flames had some horizontal black streaking thru them. This is the only standard DVD I have seen this on (so far).
FWIW, after changing the HDMI output on the BD30K to 1080i (it was on 720p), this problem disappeared.
Blu Ray playback is outstanding, and seems just as well at 1080i.
