Wires for RTI A7 w/amp

Will standard 12 guage CL3 in-wall wire be sufficient to wire these speakers and a moderate amplifier? I know nothing about this stuff and my home builder is looking for some input. Thanks!

What is the length of wire needed and how much power does the amp provide(per speaker)?

Honestly, I haven't bought the amp yet, and don't know anything about them. I'm trying to upgrade with my new house. I mentioned to the builder after studying this forum that I would likely need to add an external amp and he is worried that the 12 guage wire isn't enough to handle 150-300 watts. The length of the wire is probably 35-40 feet time you calculate it going up one wall, over to the closet and down the wall in the closet.

I really appreciate your help. The sheetrock is being installed at the end of the week.

12 gauge will be more than enough. 14 would do it, but 12 let's you get a bigger amp later on.

Note to self, do not start a sentence with a number. I hope that's legible.
