Anyone know what my Onkyo 503 will do with trueHD through analog mult. ch input?

I plan on buying a blu-ray player soon, and have no idea what it will do to analog input. The Onkyo TX-SR503 manual specifically says that the settings dealing with speaker size will be ignored. However, will it still adjust the input signal for signal delay / loudness?
