Which receiver with RTi12s?
Hi,
I just bought a pair of RTi12s ($299 each at Fry's) and after reading lot of reviews, I realise that I need to really power these biggies. I was planning on getting the Onkyo TX-SR705 and wondering if this is a good choice?
Also, planning on a CSi3 (or CSi5) for center and RTi8 for the rear.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions

Welcome to Club Polk. This topic has been beaten to death lately. Use the search function, and search for RTi10's, and RTi12's.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum, HV.
I agree with Sherardp. I think you would be better served by a receiver that has preouts so you can later add a separate amp for the RTI12s. Those 12s really need a lot of power to make them perform to their full potential.McIntosh MA252 Integrated Amp, LUMIN D2 Network Music Player, Yamaha Aventage RX-A840 receiver, Emotiva XPA Gen3 2 channel amp, Polk LSiM 703 speakers. Oppo UDP-203 Blu-Ray player, Polk LSiM 705 speakers. Polk Signature S20 speakers.
