Cable purchase

I am looking to buy some digital optical cables. I saw the cheapest price at monoprice, but that could take a few weeks to get here(i live in Canada). Then i saw some a bit more expensive at NCIX.com (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=21812&vpn=IC-O-6&manufacture=Ion%20Cables)

Is this cable sufficient?

Looks like it is well constructed. Don't see why you would have any issues.
