Just curious guys, but can bi-amping be done on an onkyo 605 for rti10 speakers? What is bi-amping? Just wondering since I cant afford an amp right now, and this may be a temporary fix to my RTi10's hunger of power...

What GSRBOB said, tried with my Elite and did not see an advantage.

The idea behind biamping is to have separate amplifiers running the tweeter and woofers. to do it properly you need an external crossover as well. Problem with using a receiver to do this is all the power is coming from the same internal amplifier. I suggest running your system normally. You can get a good high current amp later to drive the 10s (2-channel) or get a multichannel amp.
