Just wondering,

I've had my AMR70 multimedia, pc, whatever speakers for about 8 years now, and I kinda want to have a remote for it, primarily through an amp. I'm planning on getting a nice amp because I'm gonna use it for those $400 monitor speakers later when I have money...

But for now, I was just wondering whether I can possibly connect my speakers directly to the amp/receiver... Right now, the amp is in the sub, and both the left and right speakers are powerd by it. The classifications on the website here say I can get up to 44 W on them, and 103 dB  whatever that means...

Would I have to take my right speaker apart to do that?? It has a weird connecter, not the positive and negative of regular speakers... In fact, even the sub doesn't get a regular sub input... :(

Is it possible to use the receiver as an amp, or would I end up using the headphone connecter??

    Never mind that,

I have the root cables for all three, but now, I'm just wondering:
How many watts can I really pump in before they ...whatever they do...? Smoke...

The amp built into the subwoofer is currently supposed to give 44 watts max. Should I expect only that much or can I go more??
