I just bought a pair of Monitor 7cs off eBay, I should get them tomorrow. What is the general opinion of these speakers? I paid about 200 for the pair, including shipping. What height of speaker stand should i use with them if any?

    I always liked the Monitor 7's actually owned a pair for a long time. I think you made an OK deal on them if they are in really good shape.

    As far as stands go try the searcvh function for the forum. Stands for the 7's have been discussed a few times. The DIY section might be a good start.

    Welcome to the Club.

    As for the sevens it seems like $200.00 is a little much. I just paid $95.00 for a mint pair with the original stands. It would have been $185.00 if I had them shipped. I am guessing the shipping wasn't cheap for you either. Luckily mine were local so I got to save on the shipping. But if they sound half as good as mine I think you will be all smiles. I still am.

    It would be cool to see some pics when you get them.

    Yes, that 200 did include shipping of 95.00. I should get them tomorrow. I will post some pics that were put on ebay once I figure out how to post them to this forum.
