Amp to power LSI15/FXIC?

I currently own RTI8s/CSI5/FXIA4s (rear and sourround) with Bic H100.
I am REALLLLY tempted to upgrade to the LSI15/FXIC. However, the cost for the extra amp is swaying me away from upgrading. I recently bought a Yamaha RXV-1800 receiver for around 900 dollars but contemplating if I should return it, go for a lower end receiver and use the extra money for the amp to power the LSI15/FXIC.

Also, I dont plan on swapping out the FXIA4 because its just an arm and a leg for the LSI sourround :(

In othe words.

1) what decent amp can I get for around 400 dollars to power the the LSI line?
2) If I am going to spend the money on an pre-amp, is spending 900 dollars on the yamaha too much just to do pre processing?
3) will FXIA4 with LSI15/FXIC combo sound weird?

thanks.

From reading your signature I would keep the current setup, put 2 monoblocks on the rti8s and upgrade that sub.

    What Sherard said.

At the very least as well as getting the 15's you would also need to get the LSIC to have a coherent front stage. So now were are talking about having 4 channels of needing separate amplification.

You already have a well put together matching system. I would look for a 7 channel 200wpc amp for what you have & call it a day.

    Thanks for the response.

What do you guys think of the Emotive LMC1 to power the front and center?

Hit the used market. You can get an Adcom GFA 555 for under 400.00. Many used monoblocks can be had in pairs for under 400.00.
But, I have read some good things about the Emo and I have read some bad things. More good then bad though.

Pair those 8's with a good sub and you should be happy.

I bought the Bic H100 based off recommendations from avsforum. It seems like no one likes the Bic h100 here :)

I think I'll just stick with my current SETUP.

I bought my BIC h100 for 250 dollars. Is it worth upgrading to HSU or SVC ? I am willing to spend an extra 100 dollars. What are my options?
