Upgraded my system (RTi 2008/DSW Pro 600)

I finally upgraded from my RM7300V theater system to a pair of RTi A7s, a CSi A6, and the DSW Pro 600 sub. (I will be upgrading the rear surrounds in the near future, so I'm just using the RM2000II speakers temporarily in the rear.) Now I need to hide my wiring. ;) I am VERY impressed with the sound quality of this setup on music and movies.

I'm in the process of researching a new receiver. I was almost set on the Sony STR-DA5300ES (120W x 7), but it's lacking some functionality I want, such as firmware update via Internet, UI displayed in 1080p, UI (mainly volume info) displayed on top of any HDMI-based video source, PIP with digital video sources, and digital output on multi-room. I'll probably wait until later this year to see what their replacement models look like. In the meantime, I'm using my STR-DA80ES (100W x 5) to drive these new speakers.

These speakers sound fantastic!

    Damn that setup looks good, congrats. Gotta give it to Polk as well, those Rti speakers look awesome. Amazing. Enjoy bro. The Sony ES AVRs are very nice, I think the newer Denon models will give you UI, volume control etc onscreen via HDMI.

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanks everyone. dorokusai, I'll post some feedback after I get some more time with it. I'm still fine-tuning everything at this point. Still really digging the quality of sound of the RTi A7s and the sub on music. It's funny, because I used to never listen to music with my RM7300V system without using one of the ES's sound fields (hall, jazz club, etc.). However, I'm now listening to all my music with the sound field off. It just sounds that good!

    With movies, I'm able to more clearly understand spoken dialog on the CSi A6 vs. my RM2500c.

    Looks very nice,congrats.If I may make a suggestion,pull the two fronts up about 3 more inches and try and tilt that center up in the front about an inch and a half.
